- I’ve almost finished reading the book “Lovely Bones” by Alice Sebold.  It’s a good book- but I’m hesitant you say that.  You know what I mean, right?  You read a book and really enjoy it, then you suggest it to someone, and when they read it they just associate all of its contents with you.  That’s what I am afraid of here (there is a creepy pedofile in this book- not something I want to be associated with!) But, if you are mature enough to not read too much into the fact that I am suggesting this book, I would really encourage you to read it.

By the way, one thing that really sparked my interest in finishing it (I sort of gave up for a bit) was going to see New Moon (ick) and before hand seeing the preview for “Lovely Bones” which is being turned into a movie.  I am excited to see how that goes over.

- I had a terrible movie theater experience!  Maybe that’s why I didn’t really enjoy New Moon…?  During the movie, which I went to see a few days ago with my sister, this girl was CONSTANTLY walking past me, getting in the way of the movie.  Like, at least once every 10 minutes!  My theories are she either she had really bad diarrhea but still wanted to watch the movie, so kept running to the washroom OR she was on two dates at once, so she had to run from theater to theater, making an appearance with both boyfriends.  For vengeance sake, lets hope she had diarrhea.  But seriously, she was ridiculous.  She was booting peoples popcorn over and knocking over drinks in this movie.  Luckily I did not have any popcorn at this movie.  At one point she even tripped over my legs and fell on me.  At least she was apologetic.  But still, all I can say is: Next time get an isle seat.  For everyones sake.

The one that has a cartoon drawing as a profile picture

Sorry, but it’s hard enough for me to remember you by name as it is, since I last met you in kindergarten.  Now I can’t even check your profile picture because, APARENTLY, you’ve turned into a comic frame of Calvin & Hobbes…  Oh, no- wait, you haven’t, you’re just too stupid to realize that a profile picture is supposed to be a photo of you.

The one with the dramatic statuses

Is it just me, or are you having a mid life crisis over Facebook?  There is NO NEED for you to post ‘don’t call – crying’ or ‘I just can’t take it anymore, I have to end it’ as your Facebook status, before you hit up the mall and go watch a movie with friends.  No one wants to hear about your depressing life, especially since it’s not even depressing and you’re just being dramatic.  Bonus points to those that use the excuse “it’s the lyrics from a song” after their friends all comment asking what’s wrong.

The one that plays 12 different farm games

And sends you a gift in each and every one of them, each and every day.  I don’t know how to say this without being rude, but while you work on your farmville, farmtown, farmisland, farmpals and farmlife, I’m trying to use a social networking site, not Neopets.  So please, please, just stop sending me invitations for this.

The one that posts photos that aren’t photos

But rather, they are a 10 minute Paint project with boxes including things like “smells the worst”  and “posts the most annoying photos”.  Well, not really, but you know what I mean.  Of course, you, an unsuspecting victim of this activity, get tagged, and for the next week, get 100 notifications a day because somebody commented on how Susie got “Dresses the best” or Johnie got “Is an emo”.

The person that changes their name

OK, apparently Jennica Smith is now Jennica HelloGoodbyePickleBanana.  First of all, congratulations on the marriage (who’s the lucky lady/man?), and second of all, is that name Icelandic or Hungarian or…?  Just kidding, but seriously, this is ridiculous.

I hope you haven’t come in to contact with thee terrible Facebook beasts, but if you have, there is still hope.  :)
